JAKARTA - Olivia Rodrigo menang tiga kategori penghargaan Grammy Awards 2022 yaitu Best Pop Solo Performance, Best New Artist, dan 

Best Pop Vocal Album.

Dalam Grammy Awards 2022, ia meraup tujuh nominasi, termasuk di kategori utama.

Ketujuh nominasi ini adalah Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, Best New Artist, dan Best Pop Vocal Album.

Lewat lagu “Drivers License” Olivia Rodrigo berhasil memenangkan kategori Best Pop Solo Performance di ajang Grammy Awards 2022.

Di kategori ini Olivia Rodrigo bersaing ketat dengan Justin Bieber (Anyone), Brandi Carlile (Right on Time), Billie Eilish (Happier Than Ever), dan Ariana Grande (Positions).

Selain itu Olivia Rodrigo juga dinobatkan jadi Best New Artist.

Ia menyebut bahwa piala ini adalah mimpinya yang kini benar-benar terwujud.

"Terima kasih banyak kepada Recording Academy. Ini adalah mimpi terbesarku yang menjadi kenyataanm" tuturnya, seperti dilansir dari People.

Pelantun "Drivers License" ini kemudian berterima kasih kepada labelnya. "Terima kasih kepada semuanya di Interscope, terutama John Janick, yang percaya kepadaku dan penulisan laguku," tutur dara 19 tahun tersebut.

Persaingan yang dihadapi Olivia Rodrigo untuk membawa pulang piala ini terbilang cukup menantang.

Dalam kategori ini, nomine lainnya adalah Arooj Aftab, Jimmie Allen, Baby Keem, Finneas, Glass Animals, Japanese Breakfast, The Kid Laroi, Arlo Parks, dan Saweetie.

Tak hanya menerima piala, Olivia Rodrigo juga naik pentas untuk memeriahkan perhelatan musik prestisius ini.

Dengan gaun putih mini yang dipadu stocking jala dan sepatu boots, ia membawakan lagu hit miliknya, "Drivers License."

Tak hanya itu ia juga meraih penghargaan untuk kategori Best Pop Vocal Album. Dalam Grammy Awards 2022, ia meraup tujuh nominasi, termasuk di kategori utama.
